There is MORE to the Story.
When your strength comes from the right source, there's not a mountain you can't climb.
Read MORE from Whitney.
Did you know God made you MORE than your disease, and he has a purpose for you? Well, he did and he does! No matter how many needle sticks you get that make you shout, "Ow!" or scary tests that make you want to scream, or cold waiting rooms you have to sit in that make you feel small, God sees you, your bravery, and the MORE he created you to be.
The author's disease began when she was a little girl, so Whitney knows first-hand the emotions and feelings these children experience and the frightening unknowns they face. In this book, Whitney encourages every child who's battling disease to see themselves how God sees them and shout the powerful message to the world- "I am MORE!"
What would you do if you were the first person diagnosed with a rare mutant gene? What if your doctors told you that you shouldn’t be alive?
In 2013, Whitney Ward was diagnosed with a rare gene mutation, discovered by her team of doctors at the National Institutes of Health. The medical discovery unlocked the mystery of what had caused her autoimmune and immune diseases, but eventually the scientific find led to the shocking news that Whitney should have never survived her mother’s pregnancy.
Whitney embarked on an upward climb with her medical team to find the answers to this unknown disease.
Hadassah longs for a different life than what’s destined for her—betrothal, marriage, and childbearing. A destiny that suffocates her. She longs for adventure. And nothing satisfies her thirst for adventure more than her calling—being the shepherdess of her father’s flock. One night, a sickly maimed lamb is born to the flock, and Hadassah knows in her heart this lamb has a divine purpose.
Her faith in this promise guides her to name the lamb “Haste,” for this insignificant maimed lamb will live to do something significant. The animal heals Hadassah’s heart, and she slowly becomes open to love. It’s evident to everyone that Haste is not an ordinary lamb, not even Hadassah can imagine how special Haste is, for the birth of this lamb signals the countdown of the most historical event in the world.
Did you know God made you MORE than creation?
The mountains are tall, and the oceans are vast, but YOU were created in God’s image, and YOU are the only thing he created that can have a relationship with him. God has loved you from the beginning of time, and he created you with a special purpose—to tell others how wonderful he is.
Haste's name means fast, but he is the smallest lamb in his flock, AND he has a broken leg!
Haste's shepherd tells him that God made him for a special reason, but Cotton and Sunny, the biggest and fastest lambs in the flock, laugh at Haste. "I'm sure the shepherd named you HASTE as a joke!" they tease.
Haste doesn't know who to believe. But he, of all the lambs, is chosen to go with his shepherd on an amazing journey. Haste hopes this will help him learn who he was created to be.

MORE than a Conqueror.
Hi, I'm Whitney and I'm so glad you're here!
You'll see and hear the word MORE used in my writing and ministry because it is the heartbeat of all I do.
In 2013 I received a diagnosis that would change everything... a gene mutation so rare I was the first to be diagnosed with it. This condition, known as Primary Immune Deficiency, was so severe that medical professionals didn't understand how I had survived my mother's pregnancy, let alone made it past 30 years old.
It's simple: God had MORE in store for me.
After years of research into this new disease, I was asked to give it a name. I chose MAGIS Syndrome, derived from the Latin word for MORE. It's a constant reminder that anyone struggling to thrive through this disease is MORE than the diagnosis.
This is the driving force behind my writing, speaking, and mission. I want to use my voice and platform to inspire others, no matter what they're going through, and remind them they are MORE than it all.
I advocate for those living with chronic illness and work to raise awareness of the daily challenges faced by people with disabilities. On a deeper level, I pray my story will encourage anyone facing unimaginable obstacles, and keep them hoping and believing for MORE.
If God gave me the strength to climb my mountains, He will provide you the tools for you to do the same.
The mountains are calling, and I invite you to climb them with me. Together, we'll prove that we are MORE than this world and any pain or heartache it brings.
